The summer break was over...back to school, starts my senior year.

I sketched out this painting in the last semester, but just never got a chance to paint it.

I try to use color scheme that I seldom use, such as the blue, purple, green. Specially, I almost never use any purple in my painting....I don't know why, it just happens naturally.

Besides, I think I am addicted to make my own gesso, it is just so enjoyable.

The summer is really hot...today is 103°F!!!

Recently, I am working on this painting, it will be finished very soon.

I hope I can paint one or two more in this summer.

Obviously, the painting is about a cat is trying to

catch this tiny girl. Will the cat succeed?

Clean up

Whenever I want to give up, I will clean up my room and look at my doll collection. Then, start over again.

I like this girl's face a lot and I got critic from a famous senior student(Chase Stone) during the class! HAHA^^b

The 6th semester is over, the summer holiday starts. I think I should be happy because I can relax and has some funs, but I feel sad actually. I want to keep working and busy till the end of my life. I think this kind of busy life confirms my existence and gives some kind of meanings to my life. If I am not working, I am nothing at all.

In this semester, I think I do improve but not a lot...I definitely need more hardworking and should challenge myself more, never hold back. Because next year I will be the senior and I have to compare to the professional soon. I don't want to pressure myself too much but just need to keep working and make the process enjoyable, keep it as a part of the daily life, and I think that's enough.

Besides, I should start show my works to some potential clients. But my low self esteem is just a problem...

I like this painting because I can paint a lot of cats. However, I think I can control the color sheme better next time.
