The project from Sonja's Class. I didn't really like it in the beginning, but after I finished it, it just looks so good to me...I think all we need is patient.

Recently, it is just so busy...never having such a busy semester before...can't breathe.

some details

My recent personal work that I did during the winter break. This is the first time I paint oil on canvas surface and I think it is a better working surface than the gesso board. Besides, I really like the oval shape canvas and it gives me more passionate to finish it.

Overall, this painting depicts a clock and there is a girl who is handcuffed, trapped inside the clock. The skeleton/gear of the clock contains some star symbols of the solar system, such as the sun, moon, earth, venus, pluto...Besides, may be you can't really notice from the photo, there is a wallpaper as the background, I spend a lot of time on painting that wallpaper.
